Find offices

Find real estate brokerages by market and agent count

Agent count prices your product, and no directory keeps it current. Almost everything else about a brokerage is public.

try

Brokerages are visible from the street and opaque on paper. The brand on the door, the markets covered, and the office addresses are all easy. Agent count moves every month and roster pages lag. A franchised office and its parent look like one company in some sources and two in others.

Treat the roster as the source. Serper's maps search gives you the offices. A research column reads the brokerage's own team page to count its agents, and another reads the brand affiliation off the site. Blitz API reads the brokerage's LinkedIn company page for headcount and founding year. Contact work starts at Blitz API for people with a LinkedIn profile, and LeadMagic backs it up on mobile numbers.

Example searches

Ask for it the way you'd say it

Each example is a request in plain words, with what it returns underneath.

  • Market and size together

residential brokerages in the phoenix metro with more than fifty agents

Agent count is not a search filter. The search returns the offices, then a column counts each roster page and dates the count, which beats a franchise directory figure.

  • Independents only

brokerages in texas that are not part of a national franchise brand

Brand affiliation is its own column, so independents become a filter rather than a name you have to recognise.

  • Operations, not the broker

find the director of operations or office manager at each brokerage

Broker owners are hard to reach in season. The operations lead answers sooner and sits closer to the tooling decision anyway.

Plays

Three motions you can run this week

Each one is a chain of OXYGEN primitives: the same hosted objects your workspace already has, composed.

  • Count the roster, then rank

A list ordered by an agent count you measured rather than inherited from a directory.

    1. 1Crawl each roster page into a count column and record the date the count was taken.
    2. 2Sort on the count, promote the top band, and leave the rest in the table.
    oxygen columns run
  • Franchise versus independent

Two lists with two openers, because the buying process is not the same.

    1. 1Write brand affiliation into a column with two values: independent or franchised.
    2. 2Copy each value into its own table, tag it, and give each table its own sequence, so nobody gets the other model's message.
    oxygen tables tag
  • Reach the operations seat

You talk to whoever owns the tools instead of somebody out on a showing.

    1. 1Send the rows where an operations or marketing lead resolved with a direct address to a table of their own.
    2. 2Run a short email and LinkedIn cadence, then read every reply in one inbox.
    oxygen sequences start

Who you can reach

Roles you can find at real estate brokerages

Reachability is per channel: a role marked for mobile is one the phone waterfall usually resolves, not a guarantee for every record.

Filters you can search on

  • Agent count band from the roster page
  • Franchise brand or independent
  • Markets and metro areas covered
  • Residential, commercial, or both
  • Office count under one brokerage
  • Property types advertised
  • CRM or listing platform detected
  • Years trading in the market

Office listings and phone numbers are dependable. Agent counts are only as fresh as the roster page, and a brokerage running its roster through a franchise portal may publish nothing countable. Individual agents are easy to find and rarely the buyer, so filter on seniority first.

Data sources

Data sources and CRM connections

  • Serper

Brokerage offices from Google Maps by city, with address, phone, category, and site.

  • People Data Labs

A second company record with headcount, size band, and founding year, run when you pick it by name. Franchise brand comes from the site, not from this record.

  • Blitz API

Reads the brokerage's LinkedIn company page for headcount, then opens the work-email chain for broker owners and operations leads with a LinkedIn profile.

  • LeadMagic

Mobile numbers for broker owners, as the lane behind Blitz API on the mobile chain.

Use managed credits where available, or connect a supported provider key on an eligible paid plan. Your provider bills its calls; OXYGEN adds a per-call platform fee. Signed-in CRM connections such as HubSpot have no per-call fee. Connected sending accounts reserve monthly credits. See pricing and supported integrations.

Limits

Where this stops

  • Agent count is the weakest field in this market. Roster pages lag, franchised offices sometimes publish nothing, and directory figures are stale, so keep the count dated and re-check it before quoting it.

FAQ

Questions people ask first

How do you count agents at a brokerage?
From the brokerage's own roster page, with the date of the count stored beside it. Any third-party figure is a second opinion rather than the number you should sell against.
Can I exclude national franchises?
Yes. Brand affiliation resolves into a column, so independents and franchised offices become two filters. They also deserve two messages, since one buys locally and one does not.
Should I target agents or brokerages?
Brokerages, if the office pays for your tool. Individual agents are trivially easy to source and almost never hold budget, so seniority is the filter that saves the money.
What about commercial firms?
They source the same way and qualify differently: property type, deal size language, and team structure all read from the site. Keep them in a separate segment with their own opener.
Do you cover markets outside the largest metros?
Yes. Listing coverage follows population, so smaller markets return fewer offices. Expect more rows without a website in rural areas, and check a sample before you trust a thin market.
How current is the list after a month?
Offices move and brands change hands, so put the column that re-checks each listing on a scheduled full refresh. Each refresh runs every row again and bills it. A changed cell shows its old value in its recent history, with the date. When an office closes, remove its leads from the campaign; deleting the row alone leaves them enrolled.
